See All ReviewsNormally, I don't give bad reviews. This time I must say something. I'll start with the odor we smelled when walked in. It was like mold covered up by bleach. We noticed how old the place was and it just felt unclean and disorganized. Most of the seating is old booths that were a tight squeeze. There were a couple of tables and chairs but that's it and they were taken. The prices are very low compared to other restaurants but soon I would discover why. The portions are small and the quality is poor. My chicken fried steak was very small and clearly was not fried. It was more like a warmed in a micro-wave TV dinner breaded chicken cutlet. It was very thin. The white gravy was very watery and basically taste like water. The hash browns were mushy instead of crisp and lacked any seasoning. I also had these small pieces of limp, soggy toast. The people with me said "Never again". This is the absolute worst restaurant we have ever been to. My suggestion to the owner is raise your prices and improve the quality of the ingredients and the preparation of the food. Remove some of the booths and add some tables with chairs. You should also try and find the source of that moldy odor. I see the good reviews like everyone else. Those reviews are either fake or they were written back when this place was better. I hope the best for this owner. I don't like leaving bad reviews but in this case felt like I should for those they may be following me.
Such a yummy breakfast spot, amazing prices, great food, nice atmosphere!! Definitely check it out! my aunt and i spent $23 all together & we got extra sides of pancakes and biscuits and gravy, such good value!!
Had to throw my food in the trash where it belongs. Cold food, no thank you. I called the place and whoever picked up the phone with a broken English accent couldn't care less. Avoid this place. Food is NOT fresh, reheated and probably prepared by chef Mike. (Microwave).
